730k sp noob, formerly owner of a brutix in which i could solo all lvl 3 missions with a bit of work.

Then came "Spy Stash".
Tanked my way through the first stage with medium & small repairers II.
Jumped into the next stage, aligned and then frantically turned on repairers as i realised the scale of the incoming damage (as an afterthought, it was mostly for decoration).
Got scrambled and my brutix swapped for a capsule.
In fact, i've never stood a chance.

And now i have to pack my stuff and move on to a lower quality agent because i keep on getting either the "Spy stash" or "Black Market Hub" and have no suicidal tendencies.
I guess i was making too much easy money and as a major source of inflation i had to be stopped.

There's still something unclear to me: when i'll grow up, flying an overpriced BS, what makes CCP think i'll keep on doing lvl 3 missions with silly loot & bounties when i could get at least the lowest hanging fruits of lvl 4?

I hope we can at least agree that mission is totally out of proportion.

The BS aren't overpriced. They are an investment, aand once you have one you can earn isk that much faster - so they should cost alot to begin with. You can try doin level 4s in your shiny new Battleship but i think you'll find, in the beginning at least, that they work out less profitable than level 3s. You need at least 1M sp in gunnery plus some great tanking skills to have a good go a t a level 4 in a BS solo. My experience is that I am somewhere between the level 4s and 3s - where level 3s provide a better option for pure isk/hour because i can finish them faster losing less drones. Level 4s are still a reqal challenge, and I have to put aside at least a couple of hours if I want to undertake one.

The level 3 Spy Stash and Black Market Hub are challenging missions, but thank god there are some challenging missions after doing level 2 missions for however long it takes to get standing up to correct levels. Just imagine it was like a few more level 2 missions - then you'd really be annoyed.

I've lost a thorax, a brutix, and a prophecy to the Angels Spy Stash second stage.. So i come back with an Armaggeddon... which now has trouble with the first stage???

It seems the bigger the ship, the harder??
I come back with 3 times more armor, but the angels are doing 6 times more damage a minute...

Please comment on my setup and help me get through this mission in BS:

Armageddon

Drone
8x Ogre I
High
7x Heavy Beam Laser w Xray M or Radio M
1x Heavy Nosferatu I
Med
1x 100mn Afterburner II
1x Cap recharger I
1x Patterned Stasis Web
Low
3x 1600mm Reinforced Nanofiber Plates I
1x Energized Adaptive Membrane I
3x Capacitor Power Relay I
1x Large Armor Repairer I

In a couple days I'll have large turrets, but I don't feel that will help any...

Please help!

Too many plates and not enough hardeners is my opinion. Try using your lowslots like this :
1x large armour rep (Named or tech II makes a big diff when combined with hardeners)
3x Hardeners (I use one kin 1 explos 1 therm as standard to cover all damage types)
1x 1600mm plate (a little extra hitpoints in case things get hairy)
3x Module of your choice ( either capacitor relays or damage and tracking mods)

Having all those 1600 plates sure gives you alot of armour - but it isnt GOOD armour. Whereas with just one plate and 3 active hardeners your armour resistance will all be above 60 and you will still have nearly 8000 hitpoints in an armageddon. Make sure your cap recharge is good enough so you can run the three hardeners and the large armour repairer almost permanently on their own. Remember cap recharges alot faster when it is nearly empty too.

You also dont have much fitted capable of dealing with close frigs although I'd guess your heavy drones and webber can do alot of work there. Large turrets, generally speaking, won't help you with your level 3 missions, and you are better of finding a good setup with medium guns.
